Annette M. Alvarez, MBA
President and Chief Executive Officer
Annette is a native of Puerto Rico. After attending Bryant College in Smithfield, RI where she earned a BS in Business Administration, she went on to obtain a Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Haven, CT. In 1992, her husband and her moved to Colorado, where he was transferred while in the United States Air Force. She has over 20 years of experience in management with emphasis in finance, retirement plans, mortgage, telecommunications, budgeting, insurance, retail and credit counseling with over 15 years of management/supervisory experience in operations and customer service. She was recognized over the years several times for managing top teams with lowest records in customer complaints. She brings with her specific expertise in promoting and maintaining a productive work environment without sacrificing team moral, while meeting company objectives. When she is not working, she is spending time with her 3 children or volunteering for her church.
Guillermo earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Colorado Technical University after moving to Colorado with the United States Air Force. His Air Force experience started at NORAD in Colorado Springs. He has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and aerospace industries in the field of testing. He has worked for major corporations such as US West, Qwest, and Raytheon. Currently, he is earning a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Mr. Alvarez will be involved in statistical analysis and report writing.
Kelly S. McIntyre, Ph.D.
Director of Consulting
Dr. McIntyre completed a doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Colorado State University in 2005, one of the foremost research centers on Assessment Centers. Dr. McIntyre’s expertise is in the areas of psychological measurement, test validation, and personnel selection. Dr. McIntyre has worked both as an independent consultant (owning a small consulting firm for 6 years) and in testing and validation with DecotiisErhard (now CorVirtus) management consulting firm. Dr. McIntyre has experience with both public and private industry clients, focused on validating, implementing, and analyzing selection procedures, as well as assessing customer service behavior, creating surveys, and guiding strategic planning initiatives. Dr. McIntyre also spent 4 years as an adjunct faculty member of the Institute of Business and Medical Careers. Dr. McIntyre is involved in the development and administration of written examinations, development and administration of assessment centers, conducting candidate orientations and assessor training, data analysis, and development and administration of job analyses.
James Coughlin, ABD.
James earned a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Monmouth University in 2008, and previously, a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Stockton University in 2006. Upon completion of those degrees Mr. Coughlin has had vast experience within the clinical realm and with the administration of psychological assessments. While enrolled in a doctoral program he has gained experience it administering and analyzing numerous cognitive, personality, and workplace based assessments. He is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy program with a specialization of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Grand Canyon University. His main focuses within the program and with which his dissertation is geared towards candidate application experience and application performance feedback. Mr. Coughlin is involved in conducting job analysis, developing and administering written exams, assessment centers, providing feedback, as well as data analysis and scoring.
Dr. Walter S, Booth
Consultant Emeritus, Founder
Dr. Booth holds a B.S. Degree in Psychology from SMU in Dallas, and a Masters and Doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from TCU in Fort Worth. He began his professional career at the Institute of Behavioral Research where he developed entry-level tests for a variety of positions such as airline pilot, fire fighter, engineer, and others. The test batteries he developed for airline pilot selection became the industry standard. Dr. Booth has consulted for American Airlines, Trans World Airlines, Eastern Airlines, Texas International, and many of America’s bankrupt air carriers! He has also worked for numerous progressive, private sector organizations such as Federal Express, U S West, Honeywell, Gates Rubber, General Dynamics, Cabela’s and others. Currently serving the public-sector entities such as Police and Fire Departments which are seeking to incorporate current organizational concerns into valid, non-biased, and realistic recruitment, testing, and performance evaluation methods. Dr. Booth has been a lecturer on topics related to selection, testing, and performance appraisal matters. Dr. Booth has published extensively in professional journals including articles in Fire Chief, Police Chief, Law and Order, Public Personnel Management, and others. Dr. Booth describes himself as a professional psychologist, semi-professional author, and completely unprofessional humorist.
Susan is our office manager and administrative leader. She has been a guiding force behind many of the positive changes at our firm, including streamlining processes while at the same time giving the personalized attention that each of our clients deserve. Susan serves at the point of contact and has the ability to answer almost any question that arises. She helps to obtain assessors for us and makes arrangements such as coordinating travel, hotel, and meals that help make the assessing experience a positive one. Oh, and she keeps the rest of us in line and on task.
